Tulsa Pop Expo Celebrity Announcements

Tulsa Pop Kids is excited to announce ERIK ESTRADA, LARRY WILCOX AND ROBERT PINE will be joining us for Tulsa Pop Culture Expo. Estrada, Wilcox and Pine are American actors best known as our favorite characters Officer Frank “Ponch” Poncherello, Officer Jon Baker and Sgt. Joseph Getraer from CHiPs.

 

Estrada later became known for his work in Spanish-language telenovelas, his appearances in reality television shows and infomercials and as a regular voice on the Adult Swim series Sealab 2021.  Wilcox is a decorated Marine veteran, accomplished motorcycle rider, race car driver, Bonneville Salt Flats land speed record holder, and private pilot. While, Pine has since gone on to various roles on movies and TV shows such as Frozen, Mother’s Day, Grey’s Anatomy, Avatar: The Last Airbender, VEEP and many more.

Erik, Larry and Robert will be joining previously announced actor, Zach Callison from Stephen Universe and Sophia the First, John Schneider from Dukes of Hazzard and Smallville, actress Karen Gillan, from such movies as Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Jumanji and Doctor Who; Summer Glau from Firefly, Arrow, and Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles., and  Butch Patrick known as Eddie Munster from The Munsters. Butch will also be bringing the hot rods, Munster Koach andDragula for fans to enjoy. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming weeks.

Tulsa Pop Kids, XPO Game Festival and OKPOP are partnering together to bring you the Tulsa Pop Culture Expo hosting Oklahoma Pop Culture to nationally recognized actors and comic industry pros, to the best gaming around.

Tulsa Pop Kids Inc. was created to provide support within the community to promote literacy programs for children through pop culture and entertainment. Tulsa PopKids Inc. uses a variety of resources to further our mission from donations of comic books to volunteers who dress up in cosplay to visit children in hospitals and elementary schools as well as local events that partner with other organizations in the community.
